PARADE EMCEES 2018

The Baltimore Festival Parade is just around the corner, August 4th at 10:00 AM. The Emcees for the Parade this year are Kurt Kauffman and Tina Gang.  These are our local celebrities and would love for you to come by and meet them at the corner of East Market St. and Main St. on the Saltworks Parking Lot.

Kurt cropped portraitKurt D. Kauffman, “The Round Mound of Sound” and “The Heavyweight in Real Estate”, is a lifelong member of the Baltimore community.  He is a graduate of Liberty Union High School and The Ohio State University. Kurt has been spinning tunes at weddings, parties, and establishments for over 30 years, and servicing local real estate needs for over 25 years.  He served as the original emcee and DJ for the Baltimore Festival, and is delighted to return this year as a DJ and parade announcer.

image1Tina Gang, radio personality, has spent the last five years interviewing civic, business, and ministry leaders throughout Fairfield County as the host of Community Accent on Refreshing 90.9 FM.  As an ordained minister and a local business owner, Tina is very involved in the Fairfield County community.

The Baltimore Festival Parade takes place Saturday August 4th, kicking off at 10am. The parade begins at Basil street. The parade continues east on Market street, ending at Johnson Park. Prior years, the parade was considered the biggest and the best of Fairfield County! We aim to return our beloved parade to the great spectacle of past years.

This years’ theme is “Its a Jungle Out There!”. Parade floats should be decorated appropriately – and Awards for best floats is provided by The Loon Crew – HER Realtors

First Place: $250

Second Place $100

Third Place $100
